Lee, a Fort Worth, TX native - grew up immersed in the “817” North Texas blues & soul sound. “ I have the home video to prove it, this has been in my blood since I could walk,” says Lee. He spent his days learning how to play guitars like his heroes - Stevie Ray Vaughn, Freddie King, Lucky Dixon & others. In 2020, Lee toured with the BB King Band “recording and touring the world with them was a Texas blues boy’s dream come true.”

In 2024 Lee signed with Skylark Soul Co and they launched their relationship with the EP, Object of the Game, a collection of carefully curated covers that marked the beginning of the partnership with production duo Silver Skylarks (Daniel Balis & Skin Wade). Of that pairing Wade said “We ( Danny and I) were ecstatic to collaborate with him (Lee), there were the obvious appeals of his voice & guitar skills - but he was so willing to give himself up to the spirit of collaboration & we all got so much out of it.”

Lee likes to “chase the lightning" - "when inspiration hits, my whole world stops til it’s done” - collaborating in the studio on his debut album, out later this summer, he & the Silver Skylarks have crafted a sound that truly represents Lee as an artist.
